Career highlights:<\/strong> Drafted from Rutgers in the sixth round in 2023. Braswell played in three games early that season, all on special teams, before spending seven weeks on injured reserve, four weeks on IR-Designated for Return and one more week in IR. \u2026 He opened the 2024 season on the practice squad, was elevated after Tyson Campbell\u2019s injury in the opening game against Miami, then played three games, with one tackle and four assists against Buffalo. Braswell was sent back to the practice squad for the remainder of the season. The Jaguars signed him to a reserve\/futures contract one Feb. 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

Camp scenario:<\/strong> Braswell is facing an uphill struggle to make the roster with Tyson Campbell healthy, second-year players Jarrian Jones and De\u2019Antre Prince trending up, veteran Jourdan Lewis signed as a free agent and Travis Hunter in the mix. Braswell could step in if Montaric Brown\u2019s leg injury keeps him out beyond the end of camp.<\/p>\n

\u201cWherever they need me. Obviously right corner, I\u2019ve been kind of knocking on that. If they need to play nickel, I\u2019ve been adjusting to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dI like to play off at times, play man, get to bump-and-run it. I love everything about this defense. There are times you get to blitz, times when we get to play bump-and-run and just keep eyes on the quarterback. We didn\u2019t have that too much last year so I feel it\u2019s a big plus for us to have eyes on the Q this year.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like it it we didn\u2019t have that atmosphere. \u2018Tre [Prince], Tyson [Campbell], Jarrian [Jones], all of those guys are competing in the room. But at the end of the day when somebody makes a play it makes you want to go make a playt. It\u2019s always feeding off each other, the energy, trying to be the best you can be.\u201d<\/p>\n
