I was a little built\u2026wouldn\u2019t say fat. I am not a very fat person. I did a lot of cardio. When you engage in a lot of cardio, you can lose muscle. So, I lost weight quickly,\u201d she told Galatta.com.<\/p>\n<p>Adding that she \u201clost 8-9 kilos in a period of 8-9 months,\u201d she continued: \u201cThat\u2019s when my face looked sculpted. I agree, I was looking very thin at that time because when I saw pictures from 2019, my face looked so emaciated. It was because I was not <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/lifestyle\/fitness\/one-side-laptop-bag-two-sided-backpack-shoulder-health-experts-posture-tips-9472446\/\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">working<\/a><\/strong> out in my life. I was just sleeping, eating, working, and coming back home, and sleeping, and then repeating. I didn\u2019t do any workout. Is that good for health? No! If you\u2019re not engaging in strength training, your muscles may weaken, and your overall <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/lifestyle\/fitness\/boney-kapoor-26-kilos-late-wife-sridevi-slim-trim-inspiration-expert-10143914\/\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fitness<\/a><\/strong> may decline in the long run,\u201d said Dr Singh.<\/p>\n<p>This is why a balanced approach is crucial for achieving sustainable weight loss and enhanced fitness. There are two key elements to focus on.<\/p>\n<p>First, being mindful of your calorie intake, considering what and how much you eat, is vital. \u201cSecond, your workout routine, a healthy mix of cardiovascular exercises and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/lifestyle\/fitness\/21-21-21-rule-fat-loss-yogesh-bhateja-expert-9939293\/\" class=\"\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">strength training<\/a><\/strong>, ensures better results.
