{"id":121750,"date":"2025-08-05T20:13:13","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T20:13:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/121750\/"},"modified":"2025-08-05T20:13:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T20:13:13","slug":"fbi-unveils-first-ever-houston-most-wanted-fugitive-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/121750\/","title":{"rendered":"FBI unveils first-ever \u2018Houston Most Wanted\u2019 fugitive list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The FBI Houston Field Office held a news conference to announce the creation of the first-ever \u201cHouston Most Wanted\u201d fugitive list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The news conference happened at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the FBI Houston Field Office, located at 1 Justice Park Drive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Special Agent in Charge Douglas Williams led the event, joined by top officials from local and federal law enforcement agencies, including Assistant Chief John Nanny of the Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Houston Police Chief J. Noe Diaz Jr., and Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Murderers. Armed robbers. Bank thieves. Authorities said they plan to keep the list going in the future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The regional list targets people accused of violent crimes in Houston who are considered armed and dangerous.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cWe are taking these violent predators off the street and making us all safer&#8230; Do your part. We can\u2019t do this alone,\u201d DA Teare said during the presser.<\/p>\n<p><b>Two members were named by FBI Houston:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Christian Xavier Rucker &#8211; wanted for murder and racketeering. He is accused of killing two men during robbery in Houston. The reward money for information leading to his arrest doubled from $25,000 to $50,000. He goes by the alias \u201cGucci.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Gerrode Terrel Smith &#8211; wanted for bank robbery. Smith lives in Houston, but he is believed to travel to other states to conduct robberies of banks and ATMs.<\/p>\n<p><b>Two members were named by HPD Chief J. Noe Diaz:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Rafael Antonio Hernandez &#8211; charged with capital murder. He is accused of killing his 21-year-old daughter and his 45-year-old boss in 2023.<\/p>\n<p><b>Two members were named by HCSO Chief Deputy Thomas Diaz:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Elvio Emilio Mancebo &#8211; plead guilty to killing two people during a robbery in 2017 and accepted a 50-year prison sentence. He was out on bond and didn\u2019t return for sentencing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Luis Argueta &#8211; charged with murder. In a case of mistaken identity, Argueta is accused of killing the driver of vehicle he believed belong to a man he had a dispute with.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Anthony K. Johnson &#8211; accused of committing multiple armed robberies in Harris County in June 2025 with an extended-magazine firearm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Jose De La Cruz Borjas Machado &#8211; wanted for aggravated robbery in NW Harris County. He is accused of attacking a couple with a weapon as they exited their home. He broke into house and stole significant amount of merchandise.<\/p>\n<p><b>Three others were not mentioned specifically in the press conference:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Glen Holmes &#8211; Murder<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Jamale N.
