The company\u2019s Series B round, announced<\/a> Tuesday (Aug. 5), will allow it to bolster development of its algorithm catalog, expand its agentic artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and add to its customer success team.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the beginning, we recognized that no two supply chains are alike,\u201d Ganesh Ramakrishna<\/a>, Lyric\u2019s co-founder and CEO, wrote on the company\u2019s blog. \u201cThey\u2019re shaped not just by industry, but by a company\u2019s unique strategy, customer expectations, and operating model. That\u2019s why we built Lyric to be composable from the start, allowing teams to configure solutions that align with their specific needs, rather than bending their business to fit rigid software.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that recent advances in generative and agentic AI,<\/a> coupled with accelerated compute infrastructure, have added to Lyric\u2019s abilities. The company works with clients that include Coca-Cola<\/a>, Mondel\u0113z<\/a>, Owens & Minor<\/a>, Google<\/a>\u00a0and Kuehne+Nagel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe originally chose Lyric as our next-generation supply chain design platform, but within six months, we were using it across many other decisions,\u201d said Natesh Rao<\/a> of Mondel\u0113z in the release. \u201cTheir algorithmic horsepower is exceptional.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company\u2019s funding round is happening when supply chain management<\/a> is illustrating an old adage \u2014 \u201cwhat gets measured ultimately gets improved\u201d \u2014 as PYMNTS wrote earlier this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite ongoing supply chain disruptions<\/a> and operational uncertainties, there have never been more opportunities to move goods from point A to point B in the most efficient, effective, expedited and secure way possible,\u201d that report said.<\/p>\n

In an age marked by rapid advances in technology, the supply chain landscape has seen a major transformation thanks to solutions built leveraging AI and machine learning<\/a> (ML), coupled with significant advances in the accessibility and cost of computing power.<\/p>\n
