PHOENIX \u2014 A collision involving a motorcyclist in Phoenix on Monday left a man dead, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Arnold Ramey, 54, was traveling eastbound on Thunderbird Road when an unknown vehicle turned in front of him, according to the Phoenix Police Department.<\/p>\n

After braking, Ramey became separated from his motorcycle and collided with a nearby stationary vehicle.<\/p>\n

The vehicle that cut him off did not remain at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to the area of 48th Street and Thunderbird Road around 1:30 p.m. Ramey was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead. <\/p>\n

No further details were made available.<\/p>\n
