Carlos Alcaraz has been nothing short of mesmerising since setting foot upon the ATP Tour landscape.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 22-year-old Spaniard has already demonstrated his unbelievable talent during his relatively short career so far, reaching the status of world number one and winning five Grand Slam titles.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz<\/a>, who is set to compete at the Cincinnati Open, is an established role model on the ATP Tour; possessing the unbridled spirit any top tennis player needs, while demonstrating maturity beyond his years off the court.<\/p>\n

It is therefore unsurprising that another member of the Alcaraz family is following in Carlos\u2019 footsteps in 2025.<\/p>\n

Back in 2017, a young Carlos Alcaraz represented Spain while competing at the ITF World Junior Tennis Finals.<\/p>\n

Alcaraz\u2019s Spanish squad came second in their round robin group, defeating Egypt and Peru, while losing to Canada. They then swept through the knock-out rounds, defeating the USA and China on their way to the final.<\/p>\n

However, the Spanish team came up short against Switzerland in the final, losing 1-2.<\/p>\n

Eight years later, Carlos\u2019 youngest sibling is competing at the same event in Prostejov, Czech Republic.<\/p>\n

Jaime Alcaraz, 14, who won a Rafa Nadal Tour heat in 2023 while aged 12 years old, will play against South Korea, Egypt and Austria during the 2025 group stage.<\/p>\n

Earlier in 2025, Carlos Alcaraz expressed his \u2018surprise\u2019 regarding Jaime\u2019s level of play while competing at a junior event.<\/p>\n

Carlos Alcaraz\u2019s admiration for his younger brother<\/p>\n

Jaime Alcaraz\u2019s achievements so far have been extremely impressive. To achieve as much as he has at such a young age is commendable at the very least.<\/p>\n

However, one must be careful not to set unrealistic expectations for Jaime. He is young and must be allowed to carve out his own path without being weighed down by the stardom of his older brother.<\/p>\n

Carlos has echoed this sentiment, asking fans and social media users to leave his brother alone during an interview at Saudi Arabia\u2019s 2024 Six Kings Slam.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Carlos, the five-time Grand Slam champion was competing in the same city as his brother earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Carlos was competing in the ATP-level Barcelona Open, while Jaime was competing in the junior event.<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters at the tournament, Carlos conveyed his feelings after watching his younger brother play.<\/p>\n
