The following two days also crossed the 100-degree threshold before a colder air mass and storms helped bring temperatures back down in Dallas-Fort Worth over the weekend. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Those rainclouds have left, and the temperature is expected to rise for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service\u2019s Fort Worth office. Wednesday has a forecast high of 97 degrees, a significant increase from the recorded highs in the lower 90s at the start of the week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The temperature is expected to peak in a similar spot on Thursday, but Friday may turn out to be the fourth triple-digit day of the year.
