He won the Icebreaker 100 at Dells Raceway Park in April, but the $15,000 win in the 250 is rivaled only by the 2021 Slinger Nationals at Slinger Speedway among Fenhaus\u2019s racing accomplishments.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The Gandrud 250 included two NASCAR Cup Series drivers, Carson Hocevar and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jsonline.com\/story\/sports\/motor\/2025\/08\/04\/nascar-cup-driver-erik-jones-embraces-challenge-of-wisconsin-international-raceway-250-local-racers\/85492092007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Erik Jones;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Erik Jones<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hocevar, making his third appearance in the race, was forced to start from the rear after his car didn\u2019t meet minimum weight requirements after qualifying. He raced through the field, ran the first 233 laps before stopping to change tires and then got all the way back to fourth, only to be disqualified again. The diameter of the axle on Hocevar\u2019s car was ruled to be out of compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Jones, who had made one previous start at WIR, struggled from the get-go. Airbox problems shortened his practice, and then he battled handling throughout the feature.
