{"id":123074,"date":"2025-08-06T07:55:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T07:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/123074\/"},"modified":"2025-08-06T07:55:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T07:55:09","slug":"barcelona-players-frustrated-and-fatigued-after-17-hour-return-trip-from-south-korea-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/123074\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona players frustrated and fatigued after 17-hour return trip from South Korea &#8211; report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although Barcelona were able to cap off their Asia tour with an emphatic 5-0 win over Daegu FC, the picture wasn\u2019t all rosy for the team afterwards.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the entire Barcelona team is dealing with some degree of fatigue and jet lag as they look to cope with their long return to Catalonia, which took about 17 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona team complaint about poor planning<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/as.com\/futbol\/malestar-y-asombro-en-la-plantilla-tras-un-palizon-de-19-horas-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">AS<\/a>, the Barcelona team wasn\u2019t all that happy with the way their return to the city was planned, with some even complaining directly to coach Hansi Flick.<\/p>\n<p>For one, the players had to endure a four-hour bus ride shortly after the Daegu FC match, which took them to the Seoul airport.<\/p>\n<p>After the long bus ride, some players were already tired, especially having played under the challenging and wet conditions of the pitch at Daegu Stadium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/fc-barcelona-v-daegu-fc-preseason-friendly-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"DAEGU, SOUTH KOREA - AUGUST 04: Gavi of FC Barcelona celebrates scores his side\u2019s first goal during the pre-season friendly between FC Barcelona and Daegu FC at Daegu Stadium on August 04, 2025 in Daegu, South Korea.
