Jack Osbourne has penned a heartbreaking tribute to his beloved father, Ozzy Osbourne, just days after the iconic rocker was laid to rest<\/a> in a private funeral service in England.<\/p>\n

The Black Sabbath frontman, who was dubbed the Prince of Darkness,\u00a0died surrounded by his loved ones<\/a> on July 22 at age 76.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, the music icon\u2019s son spoke out about his death for the first time, saying his \u201cheart has hurt too much\u201d following the \u201cCrazy Train\u201d hitmaker\u2019s passing.<\/p>\n

The sweet video montage included images of the father-son duo throughout the years. Instagram \/ @jackosbourne<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much,\u201d the 39-year-old wrote on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him \u2018Dad.’\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cMy heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude.\u00a0I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing. I think this quote best describes my father.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jack then shared a quote from writer Hunter S. Thompson, which reads, \u201cLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body\u2026 but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming,\u2018Wow! What a ride!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was my dad,\u201d Jack wrote. \u201cHe lived and he lived his life fully. I love you dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

The heartfelt post, which Jack shared with his 1.2 million followers on the platform, was accompanied by a video of Jack with his famous dad at \u201cThe Howard Stern Show\u201d in November 1997.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow cool is it to have Ozzy as a dad?\u201d Stern asked the then-12-year-old. \u201cVery cool,\u201d Jack responded.<\/p>\n

The \u201cParanoid\u201d singer\u2019s widow, Sharon, 72, their kids, including Aimee, Kelly, 40, and Osbourne\u2019s son from a previous relationship, Louis, 50, joined thousands of fans to say farewell to the beloved music icon.<\/p>\n

Each of the rocker\u2019s loved ones\u00a0wore a different item<\/a>\u00a0in his honor. Heartbreaking photos from the cort\u00e8ge<\/a>\u00a0showed Sharon hugging Kelly and holding Jack\u2019s hands as she broke down in tears in front of a memorial for her late husband.<\/p>\n

A public\u00a0funeral procession\u00a0was also organized<\/a>\u00a0through the streets of Osbourne\u2019s Birmingham hometown.<\/p>\n

The memorial service included more than 100 guests, including former Sabbath bandmates and\u00a0other music industry A-listers\u00a0like Marilyn Manson, Metallica\u2019s James Hetfield and Osbourne\u2019s rock prodigy Yungblud.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\t\t
