Salinas came to the door and spoke with the suspect briefly before he shut the door, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The suspect went to the vehicle he arrived in, grabbed a handgun, returned to the door and fired several shots through it, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Salinas died from a gunshot wound to the back, according to the medical examiners office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The suspect fled, police said. Herrera and three others were later found at a nearby business and detained, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Herrera faces a murder charge.
