\n\tKelly Clarkson<\/a> is postponing her Studio Sessions<\/a> residency in Las Vegas<\/a> to be with her family amid her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock\u2019s illness.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cUnfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,\u201d the singer and daytime talk show host wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday. \u201cWhile I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children\u2019s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tClarkson addressed fans who had planned to attend her upcoming performances, writing, \u201cI am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBlackstock and Clarkson\u00a0married<\/a> in 2013 and had two children: a daughter born in 2014 and a son born in 2016. Blackstock previously served as Clarkson\u2019s manager, an arrangement that\u2019s caused legal turmoil <\/a>following the end of their relationship. Clarkson filed for divorce from the music manager in 2020, which was finalized two years later.<\/p>\n

\n\tLast month, the Grammy winner postponed<\/a> her Las Vegas residency July 4 and 5 dates hours before its first show as the singer revealed that preparing for the concerts had \u201ctaken a toll on my voice.\u201d At the time, she said in a statement, \u201cI am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow\u2019s opening at Caesars.\u201d She added, \u201cThe prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice.
