Kelly Clarkson<\/a> is taking a time out on her Las Vegas residency.<\/p>\n

The singer announced on social media <\/a>Wednesday night, Aug. 6, that the August dates of her Kelly Clarkson<\/a>: Studio Sessions shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be postponed while she tends to her family.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children\u2019s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

Clarkson, 43, apologized to ticketholders, adding, \u201cI appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her remaining concerts this month were set for Aug. 8-9 and 15-16. Her next round of shows are scheduled for Nov. 7-8 and 14-15.<\/p>\n

According to Caesars Colosseum, fans impacted by the cancellations can hold on to their tickets for Clarkson’s 2026 shows. There is a 30-day window for those who prefer a refund.<\/p>\n

Clarkson has dates six dates scheduled<\/a> for July and August 2026.<\/p>\n

Clarkson shares daughter River Rose, 11 \u2212 who recently joined her mom<\/a> onstage in Vegas \u2212 and son Remy Alexander, 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. The couple divorced in March 2022 after nearly seven years of marriage.<\/p>\n

This is the second postponement<\/a> of Clarkson\u2019s latest Vegas residency. Her opening show July 4 was canceled hours before show time after the \u201cSince U Been Gone\u201d hitmaker strained her voice during rigorous rehearsals.<\/p>\n

“We have been working 24\/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” she said in her statement at the time. \u201cI am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow’s opening.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson’s mix of natural humor, a homey stage and a set list<\/a> that showcases her powerhouse vocals on hits including \u201cHeartbeat Song\u201d and \u201cStronger (What Doesn\u2019t Kill You)\u201d has captivated fans during her sold-out shows at the 4,100-capacity venue.<\/p>\n
