Keke Palmer<\/a> is getting candid about what Pete Davidson<\/a> is like as a costar.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cI honestly think he and I have chemistry,\u201d the actress, 31, told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> of the new action-comedy The Pickup<\/a>, which is now streaming on Prime Video.\n<\/p>\n \u201cLook, I don’t know anybody that Pete don’t have chemistry with,\u201d Palmer quipped. \u201cI mean, he’s pretty well-liked in the female world.\u201d\n<\/p>\n The Pickup stars Eddie Murphy<\/a> and Davidson, 31, as armored truck drivers who face a savvy bank robber played by Palmer. “As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse,\u201d reads an official synopsis.\n<\/p>\n Pete Davidson, Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer in The Pickup.<\/p>\n Courtesy of Amazon MGM Studios<\/p>\n Complicating the Tim Story-directed shenanigans is the budding romance between Palmer and Davidson\u2019s characters. \u201cHe’s so sweet, so it was comfortable even though we were being all naked and stuff like that,\u201d said the Nope star.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \u201cBut it was in the first week of a shooting \u2014 I think it might’ve been the second day or so,\u201d she added of their flirty bedroom scenes. \u201cWe were both really putting our best foot forward. I think it’s a big opportunity for us both.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Both costars, she recalled, \u201cwere just really happy\u201d to be starring in a movie with a screen legend like Murphy, 64.\n<\/p>\n \u201cWe started out acting and performing as kids,” Palmer said. “I mean, [Davidson] started doing standup at 12. I started acting at nine. So I think being at this point in our lives, we’re in our thirties, and we’re working with Eddie Murphy.
