PHOENIX \u2014 More than a hundred APS customers were left without power Wednesday evening in metro Phoenix due to a vehicle accident.<\/p>\n

On its website<\/a>, APS listed 140 people as being affected by the outage which started around 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

The power company stated that the loss of power was caused by a vehicle accident, which damaged equipment.<\/p>\n

The outage is located in the area of Seventh and Dunlap avenues<\/a>.<\/p>\n

APS said customers are expected to have power by 10:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, temperatures on Wednesday in Phoenix reached 116 degrees and broke a daily heat record that was set in 1995<\/a>.<\/p>\n
