Thursday\u2019s Forecast:<\/b> <\/p>\n
Isolated storms have been popping up for several days\u2014this pattern is expected to repeat on Thursday, especially around lunchtime and into the afternoon. <\/p>\n
While some storms will be scattered, there\u2019s a good chance many will be widespread along the coastline during the morning hours, then move inland toward Houston.<\/p>\n
Hit or Miss storm and showers<\/p>\n
Rain chances are highest for Houston and the southern parts of the region, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers mainly on Thursday. Further north and west, it\u2019s expected to stay a bit drier. <\/p>\n

Plan for \u201cwet and stormy\u201d conditions south of Houston, especially if your routine keeps you outdoors in the afternoon\u2014these storms could be inconvenient at times.<\/p>\n
