Now just one degree shy of tying the record of 101 set in 2021. <\/p>\n<p><b>Thursday\u2019s Forecast:<\/b> <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Isolated storms have been popping up for several days\u2014this pattern is expected to repeat on Thursday, especially around lunchtime and into the afternoon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">While some storms will be scattered, there\u2019s a good chance many will be widespread along the coastline during the morning hours, then move inland toward Houston.<\/p>\n<p>Hit or Miss storm and showers<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Rain chances are highest for Houston and the southern parts of the region, with a 30 to 40 percent chance of showers mainly on Thursday.
