President Donald Trump<\/a> doubled down on his claim that late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> and Jimmy Fallon<\/a> are next in line to lose their jobs as networks begin to shy away from criticising his administration.<\/p>\n With Paramount already moving earlier this summer to cancel CBS\u2019s The Late Show with <\/a>Stephen Colbert<\/a>, Trump was asked at a press conference on Wednesday about \u201cshock jock\u201d Howard Stern<\/a>\u2019s Sirius XM radio show reportedly being brought to an end<\/a> and whether that meant anti-Trump comedy was facing extinction.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, it hasn\u2019t worked,\u201d the president said. \u201cAnd it hasn\u2019t worked, really, for a long time, and I would say pretty much from the beginning. I could go outside in the beautiful streets and pick a couple of people that do just as well or better. They\u2019d get higher ratings than he did. He\u2019s got no talent.<\/p>\n \u201cFallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent. They\u2019re next. They\u2019re going to be going. I hear they\u2019re going to be going. I don\u2019t know, but I would imagine because they\u2019d get \u2013 you know, Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon.\u201d<\/p>\n Drawn on Stern, whose show Trump once regularly appeared on to outrageous effect, exchanging scandalous remarks with his fellow New Yorker, he said: \u201cHe lost his audience. People said, \u2018Give me a break.\u2019 He went down when he endorsed Hillary Clinton<\/a> [in 2016].\u201d<\/p>\n Trump previously claimed that the end was nigh for Kimmel and Fallon last month when, gloating over Colbert\u2019s cancellation on Truth Social, he wrote<\/a>: \u201cThe word is, and it\u2019s a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, Fallon will be gone.<\/p>\n \u201cThese are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television.
