Arctic Monkeys<\/a> have launched a new recording company and updated their website, leading fans to suspect a new album is on the way.<\/p>\n

There hasn\u2019t been a new album from the Sheffield band since \u2018The Car\u2019<\/a> dropped at the end of 2022 and was given a glowing five-star review by NME<\/a>, which described it as \u201ca swashbuckling, strings-fuelled epic\u201d.<\/p>\n

After its release, Alex Turner<\/a> and co. locked in a headline slot at Glastonbury 2023<\/a>\u00a0and headed out on a huge world tour<\/a> \u2013 which they ended by bringing out James Ford and Miles Kane as special guests<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since then, there have been very few updates from the band. However, some eagle-eyed fans have now noticed that the band have updated their website homepage, and launched a new recording company.<\/p>\n

The first was brought to light by a fan page on Instagram with the handle @ArcticMonkeysMania, which shared two back-to-back images of the site. The first was taken a few weeks back, and showed the cover artwork for \u2018The Car\u2019, and the current design has removed that for a simple green backdrop. They also highlighted that items in the music store no longer appear on the homepage.<\/p>\n

A page on X\/Twitter called @hasitleaked then ran with the post, speculating that the band have \u201cstudio sessions booked for November\u201d and a \u201cfull summer tour\u201d planned for 2026.<\/p>\n

Nothing has been reported to suggest any of those claims are true, although the person behind the page was adamant, telling followers<\/a> that they have \u201cnever been wrong on Arctic Monkeys news before.\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as changing their website, Arctic Monkeys have also added a section titled \u2018Newsletter\u2019 to their page, suggesting that updates could be on the way. They also have legally launched a recording company called Bang Bang Recordings, with each of their names listed on the gov.uk website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans have been quick to speculate that all of this could equate to a new album being announced soon, and taken to Reddit<\/a> to share their hopes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWE ARE GETTING A NEW ALBUM IN 2026!!!!\u201d one wrote, while another added: \u201cI\u2019m gonna throw up\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s no longer a drill folks\u2026 we might be back,\u201d a third chimed in, while another mentioned the Bang Bang Recordings update, saying: \u201cThis is legit but they\u2019ve been sitting on this company for a long time, any legal updates may not necessarily mean we are back. But I hope I\u2019m wrong\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

NME has reached out to a spokesperson for the band for comment.<\/p>\n

Little has been seen of the band since they wrapped up their headline tour dates, and the frontman has only been seen posing with a fan, and then again at the Music Week Awards in May.<\/a><\/p>\n

This year, it appeared that drummer Matt Helders has been turning his sights to a solo project<\/a> \u2013 dropping brief clips of himself in the studio, working on some ambient, electronic material.<\/p>\n

Few details have been shared about that release, and rumours of a solo album from him have been around since 2018, when he said in an interview that he was underway with work for a new LP and determined to make \u201ca lot\u201d of material to justify a full album<\/a>.<\/p>\n
