My dog Xolo, a dachshund-chihuahua mix, is quite the diva. He always gets what he wants \u2014 but maybe that\u2019s on me for spoiling him a bit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of his favorite activities is going on walks around our neighborhood. I enjoy the stroll, but lately I\u2019ve been looking for new places to take him. Thankfully, one of Fort Worth\u2019s most iconic spots is opening its gates this weekend for its much-loved dog-inclusive event. Find out more about this weekend\u2019s paws time below.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also, are you a fan of Bob Marley\u2019s music? If so, you\u2019re in for a treat because a Fort Worth theater is blending the reggae pioneer\u2019s songs into a new stage production.<\/p>\n

A stroll through the garden with your pup = doggone good time<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Enjoy two full weekend days of hanging out with your pup during botanic garden hours with regular admission for humans and an additional $5 per dog.<\/p>\n

When:<\/strong> 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 9-10<\/p>\n

Take to the street to celebrate art and community<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Once a month, downtown Arlington businesses open their doors for an evening of live music, artistic experiences and shopping that encourages wandering along West Abram Street. Local musicians Ian Gillies will perform at Ann\u2019s Grocery Store and Max Segura at Cheba Hut.<\/p>\n

What: <\/strong>First Thursdays<\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>5:30-8 p.m. Aug. 7<\/p>\n

Where: <\/strong>Downtown Arlington, 101 W. Abram St., Arlington<\/p>\n

Test your knowledge of Western culture at museum\u2019s trivia night<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

There will be trivia rounds inspired by paintings from the museum\u2019s special exhibit and questions spanning geography, history and popular culture. The event is for ages 18 and older.<\/p>\n

What: <\/strong>Wild West Wits<\/p>\n

When<\/strong>: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Aug 8<\/p>\n

Where: <\/strong>Sid Richardson Museum, 309 S. Main St., Fort Worth<\/p>\n

Admission: <\/strong>Free<\/strong><\/a>; registration required<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience Bob Marley\u2019s musical magic in jubilant new production<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The musical, set against the backdrop of Jamaica, follows Ziggy on a journey of self-discovery. Some of the iconic songs featured include \u201cOne Love\u201d and \u201cThree Little Birds.<\/p>\n

What:<\/strong> \u201cBob Marley\u2019s Three Little Birds\u201d<\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>7 p.m. Aug 8; 3 p.m., 7 p.m. Aug. 9; 3 p.m. Aug. 10<\/p>\n

Feel appreciated as you drift your go-kart around the track for a buck<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The business is honoring its customers with $1 rides and mini golf. There will also be food trucks on-site where families can fuel up between rounds.<\/p>\n

When: <\/strong>9 a.m.-11 p.m. Aug. 9<\/p>\n
