A pursuit of four armed robbery suspects ended in a violent crash in Glendale early Thursday, the Glendale Police Department said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at the 800 block of West Glenoaks at around 1 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the victim, four men dressed in black and armed with a firearm took hundreds of dollars in store merchandise.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Officers later spotted a car, matching the description of the car used in the robbery, speeding and running red lights down Monterey Road and Geneva Street,\u00a0<\/p>\n
When police attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver continued and a short pursuit ensued.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The suspected robbers’ car then crashed with an unoccupied car near Jackson Street and Lexington Drive where one of them fled on foot, but was quickly caught.<\/p>\n
Another suspected robber was ejected from the car during the crash.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
All four of the suspected robbers sustained significant injuries from the crash and were transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, police said.<\/p>\n
During their investigation, Glendale police confirmed that the suspected robbers’ vehicle had been reported stolen and a firearm was recovered at the scene.<\/p>\n
