The maximum temperature measured at DFW International Airport came in exactly at the average on both Monday and Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Wednesday will likely feel a little hotter, with a forecasted heat index of 97 degrees. Minimal cloud cover and low winds are expected, providing no relief from the Texas sun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">While the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/2023\/06\/28\/what-is-a-heat-dome-and-why-is-it-making-texas-so-unbearably-hot\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/2023\/06\/28\/what-is-a-heat-dome-and-why-is-it-making-texas-so-unbearably-hot\/\">heat dome<\/a> currently baking much of the Eastern United States will make its way to Texas by this weekend, it\u2019s expected to dissipate on its way.
