Katy Perry\u2019s 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, seems to have already inherited her mom\u2019s singing skills. <\/p>\n
On Aug. 6, Perry uploaded a series of videos and photos to Instagram<\/a> showing fans what she\u2019s been up to when she is not performing onstage during her worldwide \u201cLifetimes Tour.\u201d<\/a> The post included snaps of the pop star going for a bike ride, watching her crew play Uno and enjoying a day at sea. But the standout moments featured glimpses of Daisy, whom Perry rarely posts on social media.<\/p>\n In one photo that appeared to be of Daisy, the child takes in the view from a high-rise window. Daisy, who will turn 5 later this month, seems mesmerized as she presses her hands to the glass and stares at the city. Perry also shared a sweet video of Daisy putting on a puppet show for her mom. In the adorable clip, Daisy is hidden behind a red curtain as she sings a song and moves the puppet around. When she finishes her tune, she sweetly says, \u201cThank you, everyone!\u201d while Perry cheers and applauds. <\/p>\n The \u201cFirework\u201d singer captioned the carousel, \u201cWe continue to be on tour.\u201d<\/p>\n Perry\u2019s \u201cLifetimes Tour\u201d began in April. The singer most recently performed at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Aug. 6. Next, she will take the stage at Boston\u2019s TD Garden on Aug. 8. <\/p>\n Before the tour kicked off, Perry, who last played shows around the world for \u201cWitness: The Tour\u201d in 2017 and 2018, spoke at the start of the year about how being a mom would affect her concert schedule<\/a>. In January, she told \u201cAccess Hollywood\u201d<\/a> that planning to have Daisy travel with her made her realize the importance of maintaining a consistent bedtime. So, she decided to move up the start time for her shows. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019ll be there for a part of it, but I think what I\u2019m really going to implement is an earlier time show,\u201d she explained at the time. \u201cNow that I understand it \u2014 all the dynamics and all of the different variables and layers of bringing your kids out to the show.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cSometimes those shows are on weekdays, and they go to school the next day, and they probably will have some sugar at the show, and they\u2019ll be with their friends, and everybody will be super excited, so it\u2019s going to be an 8:30 show.\u201d <\/p>\n Perry added that motherhood has changed her \u201cvibe\u201d and she no longer wants to start shows around 9 or 9:15 p.m.<\/p>\n \u201cNow, it takes an hour for bedtime, at least. You\u2019re like, \u2018OK, another book, another song. All of it! Do you want a banana now? OK, water, yes! Stuffy? Don\u2019t you have six in the bed? There\u2019s six stuffies, how many more stuffies?!\u2019\u201d she playfully said. <\/p>\n She also revealed at the time that Daisy loves music and singing. But, she said Daisy likely won\u2019t join her onstage during the tour. <\/p>\n Still, the 4-year-old will be by her mom\u2019s side behind the scenes, cheering her on like she did in April when Perry boarded the Blue Origin flight to space<\/a>. <\/p>\n Footage showed Daisy looking amazed as the flight<\/a> landed on Earth. \u201cMy mama!\u201d she proudly said while wearing a mini-astronaut\u2019s outfit in a video posted on Space.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n Perry shares Daisy with actor Orlando Bloom.
