The interface is in Spanish, and the pass includes a label that translates to \u201cPress to scan,\u201d suggesting it\u2019s the kind of pass that contains a barcode or QR code. The other screenshot below shows a disclaimer explaining that the pass was created with a photo and that some of its information might not be visible on the watch, with a prompt to open it on your phone for the full view.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"e_Kg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"Google Wallet photo passes Wear OS Reddit 1\"  alt=\"Google Wallet photo passes Wear OS Reddit 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Google-Wallet-photo-passes-Wear-OS-Reddit-1.jpg\"\/><img class=\"e_Kg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"Google Wallet photo passes Wear OS Reddit 2\"  alt=\"Google Wallet photo passes Wear OS Reddit 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Google-Wallet-photo-passes-Wear-OS-Reddit-2.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Our testing showed this pattern. Photo passes that include a QR code or barcode appear to show up on some Wear OS watches, while passes that are simply photos, like an image of a document, don\u2019t. That suggests Google may be experimenting with support specifically for scannable photo passes rather than full photo pass support.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s been no official announcement from Google, and its <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/wallet\/answer\/14260807#zippy=%2Csome-passes-are-unusable-in-the-wallet-app-on-my-watch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">support pages<\/a> still state that \u201cprivate\u201d passes aren\u2019t supported on Wear OS. But this is the clearest sign yet that things might be changing.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll be keeping an eye out for more confirmation.
