Among them is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saturdaydownsouth.com\/college-football\/teams\/missouri\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Mizzou<\/strong><\/a> left guard Cayden Green<a href=\"https:\/\/mutigers.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/cayden-green\/28625\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">,<\/a> who secured a spot on the second team offensive line.<\/p>\n<p>Green was 1 of 23 SEC players selected for the 2 teams by the outlet. He was the only Missouri player. The Sporting News is 1 of the 5 selectors designated by the NCAA for determining consensus and unanimous All-American status at the end of each college football season.<\/p>\n<p>Since transferring from Oklahoma in 2023, Green has established himself as a formidable presence in the trenches for the Tigers. He started every game last season at left guard and will be crucial to Mizzou\u2019s offensive line as one of only two returning veterans.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saturdaydownsouth.com\/college-football\/sec\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>SEC<\/strong><\/a> showcased its strength with its 23 total selections leading all conferences. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saturdaydownsouth.com\/college-football\/teams\/texas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Texas<\/strong><\/a> led all schools with 5 selections, including 3 first-team honorees: quarterback Arch Manning, linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., and safety Michael Taaffe.
