Fox News\u2019 Greg Gutfeld revealed how he first met fellow late-night host Jimmy Fallon during his Thursday appearance on NBC\u2019s \u201cThe Tonight Show.\u201d<\/p>\n
After giving Fallon a warm embrace, Gutfeld quipped that it \u201cbrought back memories.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is hilarious \u2013 we\u2019ve met before,\u201d Fallon began.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cYes, you have no memory of it,\u201d Gutfeld responded. \u201cWhich is understandable, because we were wasted.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cGutfeld!\u201d host said their encounter took place at an \u201cillegal speakeasy\u201d in Hell\u2019s Kitchen roughly 15 years ago owned by their mutual friend Tracy, saying the inside looked \u201clike a place where special ops forces waterboard terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re not making this up. I totally know what you\u2019re talking about,\u201d Fallon interjected as his memory was coming back to him. \u201cI think I remember bringing beer into the bar, and then him charging me for my own beer.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s Tracy. He\u2019s very cheap, but if you want somebody dead, he\u2019ll do it,\u201d Gutfeld joked.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gutfeld then said he and Fallon saw each other, and the latter\u2019s eyes lit up.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd you run towards me, and you tackle me, like you\u2019re a giant golden retriever,\u201d Gutfeld recalled. \u201cYou\u2019re like on top of me. And so we\u2019re wrestling. We\u2019re wrestling. And then you change, and you start wrestling my buddy Andy, and you\u2019re wrestling him. And you guys get on the ground. You guys are now on the ground wrestling.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gutfeld shared that he met Jimmy Fallon \u201cwasted\u201d inside of an \u201cillegal speakeasy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat?!\u201d Fallon reacted in disbelief.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes,\u201d Gutfeld told him. \u201cSo I pull out a cigarette. I light a cigarette, and I\u2019m smoking it, and you stop, and you come over to me, and you grab it, and you crinkle it, and you go, \u2018These things will kill you!\u2019 and you threw it. And then I go, \u2018Dude, I\u2019m not rich. You\u2019re rich.\u2019 Cigarettes are expensive in New York City. I yell, and all of a sudden, your face changed, and you looked sad, and then you left.\u201d<\/p>\n
But, Gutfeld revealed, Fallon returned with a fresh pack just five minutes later and handed it to his future guest.<\/p>\n
\u201cI go, \u2018That was really sweet. You want me to die,’\u201d Gutfeld said, as Fallon and the audience laughed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sorry I tackled you,\u201d Fallon said later with a grin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was all very good-natured, and it was a great memory,\u201d Gutfeld told the NBC host. \u201cAnd I\u2019m so glad I finally got to tell you!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m so happy,\u201d Fallon replied. \u201cThat\u2019s a true story\u2026 I remember. All the details you said are correct.\u201d<\/p>\n
