That frustration boiled into Parsons\u2019 request to be traded, a somewhat unprecedented move for a Cowboys player of his caliber. It\u2019s a difficult situation to fathom, but could Prescott imagine a world where he doesn\u2019t have Parsons as a teammate?<\/p>\n

Prescott isn\u2019t alone in that feeling, as Cowboys COO\/co-owner Stephen Jones told DallasCowboys.com\u2019s Nick Eatman in an interview on Wednesday that the team would not move Parsons.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have no intentions of trading Micah, and that\u2019s part of the negotiations,\u201d Jones said. \u201cThat\u2019s just the nature of negotiations. I think any player that\u2019s holding out for a contract \u2013 I think I\u2019ve read around the league where they\u2019ve all requested to be traded. So that\u2019s part of it.
