So, the latest information about Mattia Liberali is no shock.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From an incoming perspective, Milan have been touch and go, indeed. They have eventually gotten deals done, but there have still been some interesting moments where it seemed things would fall apart.<\/p>\n<p>The same can also be said of outbound players. Theo Hernandez\u2019s departure was certainly an interesting few weeks, whilst the situation of a few first-team players is still puzzling.<\/p>\n<p>Late renewal attempt<\/p>\n<p>One of the most interesting cases, though, has involved Liberali, who is due to move to Catanzaro. (Photo by Marco Luzzani\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMilan would like Liberali to renew his contract before leaving, but the player continues to say no to the extension because he believes Milan have acted too late and he doesn\u2019t feel the right connection to renew.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLiberali only wants Catanzaro, and after the latest discussions, the deal should be unblocked in the next few hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a summer where everything has been rather ridiculous, this somehow takes the biscuit.
