Public documents don\u2019t reveal what prompted the foreclosure, simply that the entire $56 million in the original note came due. The notice names an entity tied to the project\u2019s developer, USA Infrastructure Investments as the borrower. Fort Lauderdale-based real estate investor BH3 Management was the current note holder, with the original loan issued by New York-based Kriss Capital. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Despite financing snags, construction on the property is still humming along and on track to deliver by summer 2026, said developer Preston Cheng, president of USA Infrastructure Investments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Cheng did not comment about the foreclosure, but said the new loan \u2014 a markedly larger sum than the original \u2014 was to ensure the group delivered a high-quality product. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">In addition to refinancing the original construction loan, a statement issued noted the new loan would \u201creplenish interest reserves and provide the capital required to complete the development of the condominiums.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Reservations for condos at the property have also been available since March.
