Crews say the fire started in the front carport and quickly spread to the home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Firefighters deployed hose lines, while other crews used a ladder to climb up to the roof to attack the flames. As crews were busy putting out the blaze, staff helped get everyone out of the home. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Phoenix firefighters were called to the fire at a home near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/R6CCER4TXZF6PH2SNPEA5CZVVM.jpeg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Phoenix firefighters were called to the fire at a home near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.(Phoenix Fire Department)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">\u201cThis is an assisted living home for individuals who require constant supervision and care. The caregivers inside the home did an outstanding job evacuating all the residents to safety in the backyard,\u201d said Phoenix Fire Capt. Rob McDade. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Four people were hospitalized in stable condition.
