Off-menu burgers<\/a> have been part of New York\u2019s restaurant DNA for some time. And now, there\u2019s a newer wave of secret burgers available at restaurants around the city, as reported by the New York Post<\/a>. Joining places like Soho\u2019s Raoul\u2019s<\/a> and West Village Le B<\/a>., Greenwich Village British pub Lord\u2019s<\/a> offers only 12 burgers made with Welsh rarebit nightly, available for in-person orders. Other off-menu burgers can be ordered under very specific rules, like the one at Melissa Rodriguez\u2019s Crane Club<\/a>, which is only available for 30 minutes from 5:30 to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

Corner Bistro is closer to opening in the East Village<\/p>\n

As reported <\/a>in May, West Village burger restaurant Corner Bistro<\/a> is indeed expanding into the East Village<\/a>. The team, under the Corner Bistro East, LLC., applied for their liquor license for the 94 Avenue A at East Sixth Street address on June 15. Earlier in May, owner Elizabeth McGrath submitted<\/a> a community board proposal for the expansion, noting that it would have daytime and very late-night hours, a bar, and space for 50 people.
