\n\tThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a> is ending in May but the host is already courting new employers.<\/p>\n

\n\tColbert, who is off for a few weeks on a summer hiatus, joked that he\u2019s waiting to hear from Netflix and Amazon after CBS<\/a> unceremoniously canceled the iconic late-night franchise.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis came after President Trump once again slammed the late-night hosts from The White House.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cColbert has no talent, Fallon has no talent, Kimmel has no talent, they\u2019re next, I hear they\u2019re going to be going. I don\u2019t know but I would imagine because you know Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon, you know that?,\u201d the President said this week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI knew that,\u201d Colbert replied. \u201cTo be fair, I think we\u2019re all equally untalented. I just want to say thank you for watching, sir, and thank you for agreeing to be in our new promo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe promo read: \u201cStephen Colbert is number one in late-night, just ask our elderly viewers.\u201d Then came a Still Canceled sign.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter making a joke about JD Vance and his holidays, he said, \u201cNetflix, call me I\u2019m available in June.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLater after more jokes, he added, \u201cI will also entertain offers from Amazon.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tColbert\u2019s tongue may have been firmly in his cheek, but it will be interesting to see what Colbert does after The Late Show. Obviously making a show for a streamer is one option, as seen by the late-career revival of David Letterman with My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix or Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s travel show on HBO Max.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter Skydance closed its deal to buy Paramount yesterday, CBS boss George Cheeks made his first on the record comments about the decision to cancel the show.<\/a><\/p>\n
