{"id":130196,"date":"2025-08-08T22:47:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T22:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/130196\/"},"modified":"2025-08-08T22:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T22:47:09","slug":"150-sa-automotive-employees-to-be-laid-off-when-reno-location-shuts-down-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/130196\/","title":{"rendered":"150+ SA Automotive employees to be laid off when Reno location shuts down | Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 150 employees are expected to be laid off when the SA Automotive Reno location shuts down in October.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The car part supplier disclosed the information in a letter dated August 7th to the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<p>It says the 6645 Echo Avenue location will shut down effective October 7th in its Worker Adjustment Notification Act (WARN) Notice to the state.<\/p>\n<p>SA Automotive LTD says affected employees have been notified of the permanent change.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In its WARN letter, the company says, \u201cthis is a permanent shutdown due to loss of business that will affect the whole workforce of 154 employees. Employee separations are expected to be permanent.
