\n\tThe Punisher returns. Jon Bernthal<\/a> is suiting up as the vigilante once again for \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a>,\u201d Sony and Marvel\u2019s latest web-slinging adventure.<\/p>\n

\n\tBernthal first suited up as Punisher, aka Frank Castle, in Netflix\u2019s 2016 series \u201cDaredevil,\u201d becoming a fan-favorite before starring in his own spin-off series \u201cThe Punisher\u201d in 2017, which ran for two seasons. He most recently returned to the role earlier this year in the Disney+ series \u201cDaredevil: Born Again.\u201d He\u2019s set to appear in the second season, and will return again for a 2026 Disney+ special centered on Punisher from director Reinaldo Marcus Green.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d marks the fourth film centered on Tom Holland\u2019s Peter Parker, following the Jon Watts-directed \u201cSpider-Man: Homecoming\u201d (2017), \u201cSpider-Man: Far From Home\u201d (2019) and \u201cSpider-Man: No Way Home\u201d (2021).<\/p>\n

\n\tPlot details on the fourth installment remain under wraps. \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d will swing into theaters on July 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know we left you with a massive cliff hanger at the end of \u2018No Way Home,\u2019 so \u2018Spider Man: Brand New Day\u2019 is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That\u2019s all I can say,\u201d Holland told the crowd at CinemaCon<\/a> earlier this year via video message.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings\u201d filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton will direct \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day.\u201d Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, who play Peter Parker\u2019s besties MJ and Ned, are expected to return.\u00a0\u201cStranger Things\u201d star Sadie Sink will also appear<\/a> in the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe three previous films have all been box office successes, with \u201cHomecoming\u201d grossing $880 million, \u201cFar From Home\u201d earning $1.13 billion and \u201cNo Way Home\u201d generating $1.9 billion globally.<\/p>\n
