Liberal actress and comic Rosie O\u2019Donnell predicted on Wednesday that ABC is going to cancel \u201cThe View<\/a>\u201d to appease President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

ABC has reportedly begun to scrutinize \u201cThe View,\u201d one of the most prominent shows on television known for far-left rhetoric.<\/p>\n

The Daily Beast reported about an apparent rift between the hosts of the show and the top brass at the company, going all the way up to Disney CEO Bob Iger, concerning a desire for the hosts to cool off the politics.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell, one of Trump\u2019s most outspoken critics, wrote on TikTok, \u201cYou know what I just read today? ABC is \u2018reviewing the liberal bias\u2019 on The View. The VIEW. The show with five women speaking the own opinions \u2013 That\u2019s the threat now. They say they\u2019re not canceling it\u2014 they\u2019re just \u2018reviewing the bias.\u2019 Which is code for \u2013 we\u2019re gonna cancel it we\u2019re just trying to soften you up first.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cApparently, the truth is dangerous now,\u201d she continued. \u201cThey say they want \u2018balance.\u2019 But what they mean is silence. Silence anything that doesn\u2019t praise the orange messiah and his golden escalator of lies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t about bias \u2013 This is about obedience. This is about removing any program that doesn\u2019t align with Trumpism \u2014 soft fascism in full lashes with commercial breaks,\u201d she said, before appearing to paraphrase a famous poem about the Holocaust, \u201cFirst they came for the journalists Then the educators Then the librarians Now, it\u2019s Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. It would be funny if it weren\u2019t so terrifying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are in a dictatorship with good lighting,\u201d O\u2019Donnell added. \u201cI used to think the First Amendment meant something. I used to think you couldn\u2019t just erase a voice because it made you uncomfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell went on to conclude that rather than getting quieter, women should \u201cspeak louder\u201d and \u201ctake up space.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital reached out to \u201cThe View\u201d and ABC for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

CBS\u2019 cancellation of \u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a>\u201d last month started a flurry of speculation that networks are shutting down left-wing content to placate the Trump administration.<\/p>\n
