Alejandro Garnacho wants Chelsea and Chelsea want Alejandro Garnacho. But whether he\u2019s the next member of Manchester United’s<\/a> \u2018bomb squad\u2019 to depart remains in question.<\/p>\n Of the five players Ruben Amorim pushed away from United\u2019s first-team this summer was they expressed a desire to leave, only Barcelona<\/a> loanee Marcus Rashford<\/a> has gone. Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho – ironically back in Manchester after Chelsea<\/a> decided to pay a fine to cancel their summer transfer obligation – all remain in situ.<\/p>\n Argentina international Garnacho looks the man most likely to be next through the exit door<\/a> however. His post-match comments after only being a substitute in the Europa League<\/a> final were the final straw however.<\/p>\n \u201cI have the feeling \u2013 and I think it’s clear – that Garnacho wants a different thing with a different leadership and I can understand that,\u201d added Amorim. \u201cSo I don’t think it’s a problem. Sometimes you adapt to one guy and you have the connection. Other times you want a new challenge.”<\/p>\n Chelsea believe that Garnacho, not taken on United\u2019s pre-season tour of the US, can shine for them in the Premier League<\/a>. Garnacho believes that too.<\/p>\n He is desperate to move to Stamford Bridge and has already agreed personal terms over a switch to west London.<\/a><\/p>\n The question is whether Chelsea will meet United\u2019s \u00a350m price tag. That\u2019s considerably lower than the \u00a380m the Red Devils were asking for in January when Napoli came calling, but positions have changed; United are, clearly, no longer so keen to keep him while Napoli instead moved on Noa Lang.<\/p>\n Plus, United could do with bringing in some money having spent over \u00a3200m on their new-look attack of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.<\/p>\n Chelsea are keen to get a deal done as soon as possible, but still want to pay less than that. United have so far insisted that\u2019s the price.
