With roughly a month to go, it&#8217;s going to be excited to see teams jockey for playoff position\u2014or pull the plug on a push altogether.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">It&#8217;s feels like a good time to, once again, take stock of the league. Much like the post-All-Star-break power rankings, this is about how well teams are playing right now instead of an in-a-vacuum ranking. As an example: The Liberty, Mercury and Storm are, and have been, better teams than the Sparks this year in my opinion, but neither will rank higher than them in this piece.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">All stats are current through games played on August 7.
