The results are sure to shock those who believe the Big Apple is still one of the top cities for career opportunities and progression.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe best places to earn a strong paycheck are no longer limited to traditional coastal centers,\u201d the study\u2019s authors declared, noting that the New York City metro ranked at a dismal number 42 on the list. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s just one of several southern cities that are thriving when it comes to career opportunities and earning potential. <\/p>\n

The Nashville metro area came in second spot, with the study noting that it has one of the \u201cmost dynamic job markets in the US.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile long known for music and tourism, Nashville has rapidly diversified into healthcare, education, and logistics, offering an increasingly balanced and opportunity-rich economy,\u201d the authors asserted.<\/p>\n
