{"id":1323,"date":"2025-06-21T04:03:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-21T04:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1323\/"},"modified":"2025-06-21T04:03:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-21T04:03:10","slug":"carlos-alcaraz-suggests-how-long-it-will-take-jannik-sinner-to-recover-from-his-defeat-in-the-french-open-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1323\/","title":{"rendered":"Carlos Alcaraz suggests how long it will take Jannik Sinner to recover from his defeat in the French Open final"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Jannik Sinner suffered a shocking defeat in his second-round match at the Halle Open.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bouncing back from his devastating loss in the French Open final, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/jannik-sinner-gives-his-immediate-reaction-after-winning-first-match-since-losing-french-open-final-to-carlos-alcaraz\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sinner won his opening match in Halle<\/a> against Yannick Hanfmann 7-5, 6-3.<\/p>\n<p>His time in Germany was short-lived, however, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/jannik-sinner-admits-what-he-really-needs-to-do-before-wimbledon-now-after-losing-to-alexander-bublik\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sinner lost to Alexander Bublik<\/a> in the second round 6-3, 3-6, 4-6.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"654\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/GettyImages-2217639022-1024x654.jpg\" alt=\"Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan celebrates after winning the fourth set against Alex de Minaur of Australia during the Men's Singles Second Round match on Day Five of the 2025 French Open at Roland Garros.\" class=\"wp-image-102846\" \/>Photo by Clive Brunskill\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Suffering his first defeat to a player not named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/carlos-alcaraz\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlos Alcaraz<\/a> since August 2024, Sinner\u2019s Wimbledon preparations took a big hit.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to Sinner\u2019s Halle Open exit, Alcaraz revealed how long he thinks it will take the world number one to recover from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/french-open\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roland Garros<\/a> final earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Alcaraz says it takes \u2018two or three days minimum\u2019 to recover from a \u2018really tough loss\u2019<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/carlos-alcaraz-provides-fitness-update-after-reaching-the-semi-finals-at-queens-and-admits-things-could-be-better\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alcaraz beat Arthur Rinderknech<\/a> in the Queen\u2019s Club Championships quarterfinals, he was asked how long it takes for a player like Sinner to recover from a tough defeat.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, depends on the matches. There were a few matches, really long matches that I have lost, and yeah, I just left the court by myself with the head up, and I didn\u2019t need too much time to recover from that, and there were other matches that it was really tough to deal with,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that day for him [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jannik-sinner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jannik Sinner<\/a>], that final was pretty tough to deal with after all, mentally. So I don\u2019t know. From my experience, some matches that I have lost, I took three, four days just to recover mentally.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhysically, as well, if it was demanding physically.
