Malcolm-Jamal Warner\u2019s mother, Pamela Warner, is at peace with her son\u2019s tragic passing<\/a> in July.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor those of you who are at a loss, pained by the suddenness of his departure, ache for his presence or just to hear his voice one more time, to see his beatific smile one more time, be comforted that he was at peace and more importantly, he did not suffer,\u201d the matriarch wrote Friday in a lengthy post via an Instagram account<\/a> that has been made into a tribute page for Malcolm-Jamal.<\/p>\n

\u201cMalcolm was birthed through water and transitioned through water,\u201d she added, further breaking her silence. \u201cThis was his time. His mission on earth had been completed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was at peace and more importantly, he did not suffer,\u201d she confidently wrote via Instagram of her son\u2019s fatal drowning. Getty Images<\/p>\n

The \u201cCosby Show\u201d alum died on July 20 after drowning on a family vacation in Costa Rica. He was 54.<\/p>\n

Police then revealed the actor had been \u201ccaught by a high current\u201d <\/a>while swimming on a beach in Limon.<\/p>\n

Initially, it was reported that his 8-year-old daughter was with him<\/a> but she was pulled out of the waters. However, Costa Rica\u2019s Judicial Investigation Agency\u00a0later clarified the little girl was ashore <\/a>at the time.<\/p>\n

Bystanders reportedly tried to get Malcolm-Jamal ashore, as well, but by the time the Costa Rican Red Cross tried to revive him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

There were no lifeguards on the beach<\/a> at the time and officials said the drowning happened \u201cvery quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malcolm-Jamal\u2019s official cause of death has been listed as asphyxiation by \u201csubmersion.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her post Friday, Pamela honored how her son left \u201can indelible mark on the world and on countless hearts,\u201d adding, \u201cAll who met him, however briefly, were better for the encounter,\u201d<\/p>\n

She recognized that he entered the the world \u201cthrough the waters\u201d of her womb, calling it an \u201chonor and blessing that will be with [her] all the days of [her] life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pamela continued to gush over the \u201cMalcolm & Eddie\u201d\u00a0alum, stating he was \u201ca kind, loving man with a huge heart for humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe wanted all to be aware of their inner strength and that they could succeed, accomplish and transform,\u201d she added. \u201cThis was his latest mission and work, transformation, in order for you to be fully present in your life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pamela also praised her son\u2019s abilities as a teacher, coach, business partner and best friend. She also raved about his skills as an actor and musician, who was nominated for Grammy awards and won one.<\/p>\n

\u201cHold close to whatever part of Malcolm\u2019s life that touched yours,\u201d the proud matriarch concluded. \u201cIn keeping it near, you keep his spirit alive \u2014 nourishing you with the peace, love, joy and light that embodied Malcolm-Jamal Warner.\u201d<\/p>\n
