\u201cThe judiciary will show no leniency toward\u00a0spies\u00a0and agents of the Zionist regime, and with firm rulings, will make an example of them all,\u201d Jahangiri was quoted as saying by\u00a0Iranian media.<\/p>\n

Israel does not comment on such claims.<\/p>\n Israeli authorities themselves have boasted about the deep penetration into Iran that their intelligence agencies achieved to plan for its attack,\u00a0including footage\u00a0purporting to show agents launching drones from within Iran.<\/p>\n Iran is the world\u2019s second-most prolific executioner after China, according to human rights groups.
