Before the school year begins, this local organization ensured Northeast Philly kids have a backpack to bring with them.<\/p>\n

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Before the school year begins, this local organization ensured Northeast Philly kids have a backpack to bring with them.<\/p>\n

Catholic Community Services gathered their staff members to distribute over 300 bags full of school supplies.<\/p>\n

“Our goal is simple to keep families together by strengthening families through our resources,” said Community Liaison of Catholic Community Services, Lance Wright.<\/p>\n

“We have a presence here and we want to meet our community where they are,” he continued.<\/p>\n
