{"id":133039,"date":"2025-08-10T00:28:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-10T00:28:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/133039\/"},"modified":"2025-08-10T00:28:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-10T00:28:08","slug":"northside-jacksonville-barbershop-holds-5th-annual-back-to-school-giveaway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/133039\/","title":{"rendered":"Northside Jacksonville barbershop holds 5th annual back-to-school giveaway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 A Northside Jacksonville barbershop gave away backpacks with school supplies on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">William Parker has owned Miracle Cutz on Dunn Avenue for over 12 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cEvery year we do annual gift bags for the church in the community,\u201d Parker said. \u201cSo we\u2019re going to make sure that every kid that comes to this barbershop, they leave with a book bag full of school supplies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">This is the fifth year that Parker has given out backpacks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThe kids matter to us so we want to make sure the kids are good so that they can make sure we are good,\u201d Parker said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">He said he loves seeing the smiles on kids\u2019 faces when they get their backpacks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThis is the best thing I could ever see in this community,\u201d Parker said. \u201cAs long as I can put a smile on the kid\u2019s face, that\u2019s what it\u2019s all about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2025 by WJXT News4JAX &#8211; All rights reserved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 A Northside Jacksonville barbershop gave away backpacks with school supplies on Saturday morning.
