CONVERSE – Police have arrested a man and a girl on drug possession charges.<\/p>\n
On the morning of August 7, Converse Police officers conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl. <\/p>\n
The pair was charged with possession of controlled substances from Penalty Group 1 and Penalty Group 2, as well as possession of tobacco and drug paraphernalia.<\/p>\n
The Converse Police Department highlighted the importance of proactive policing in keeping dangerous drugs and tobacco off the streets, thereby preventing them from potentially reaching schools and youth.<\/p>\n
Under Texas Education Code 37.006 and 37.007, students found in possession or using controlled substances, alcohol, or tobacco products on school property or during school-related activities can face mandatory disciplinary actions, including removal from class or expulsion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CONVERSE – Police have arrested a man and a girl on drug possession charges.
