La Crosse Avenue Mass Shooting<\/p>\n
A woman was killed and six other people were shot at about 2:48 a.m. in the 100-block of N. La Crosse Avenue, according to police.<\/p>\n
Police said a 22-year-old woman was shot in the back. She was taken to Mt. Sinai hospital, where she died.<\/p>\n
A 17-year-old boy was shot to the left thigh. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
A man, 29, was shot in the right leg, he was taken to Loretto hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
An 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and arm. He was taken to Stroger hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
A second 18-year-old man was grazed in the left hand. He was treated at the scene.<\/p>\n
A woman, 29, was shot in the right elbow, she is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
Maypole Avenue Shooting<\/p>\n
About three blocks from the large gathering, police said an 18-year-old was shot and killed.<\/p>\n
CPD said the shooting happened in the 5000-block of W. Maypole Avenue at about 4:37 a.m.<\/p>\n
Two 18-year-old men were allegedly in an argument with two people who were in a vehicle, police said.<\/p>\n
The two suspects who were in the car started shooting at the 18-year-old, police said.<\/p>\n
One of the 18-year-old was shot twice in the back. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n
The other 18-year-old was shot in the arm. He was taken to Mt. Sinai and is expected to be OK.<\/p>\n
Lamon Avenue Shooting<\/p>\n
In the same area, a woman was found with multiple gunshot wounds, police said,<\/p>\n
The 20-year-old was found in the 200-block of N. Lamon at about 1:40 a.m. She was taken to Mt. Sinai and was listed in good condition.<\/p>\n
