Kourtney Kardashian Barker<\/a> is learning from her mistakes.\n<\/p>\n The Lemme founder, 46, shared an Instagram post<\/a> on Friday, Aug. 8, that included a photo of 21-month-old son\u00a0Rocky Thirteen<\/a>\u00a0on a boat without a life vest.\n<\/p>\n A day later, and after she faced backlash<\/a> for the safety hazard, Kardashian Barker shared a post on her Instagram Stories, speaking out about the controversy.\n<\/p>\n \u201cUpdate: bought a life vest that fits!\u201d the mom of four wrote over a screenshot of an infant life vest.\n<\/p>\n \u201cGood looking out. Honestly didn’t think about some of the dangers,\u201d Kardashian Barker continued. \u201cThank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s Instagram Stories post.<\/p>\n Kourtney Kardashian\/Instagram<\/p>\n Other images included in her Aug. 8 post indicated that Kardashian Barker was in Idaho, where it is required<\/a> that children 14 years of age and younger must wear a life vest while on the water.\n<\/p>\n Fans expressed concern on social media about Kardashian Barker’s move to not have her youngest child wear protective gear during the boat outing.\n<\/p>\n \u201cGreat photo except for the fact the child has no life jacket on,\u201d one person wrote in the comments section of her post.\n<\/p>\n \u201cYou can make those kinds of decisions for yourself. But don\u2019t make a decision like that for your child. PLEASE,” they added.\n<\/p>\n A user on Reddit<\/a> said, “Rocky should be wearing a life jacket. Such dangerous neglect,” as another wrote, “Kids on boats should always be wearing appropriate life vests, and it looks like it\u2019s sitting in the seat right next to them.”\n<\/p>\n \u201cC’mon Kourt.
