A man has died following a mass shooting in Baltimore on Saturday night, where five others were injured.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police said officers were called just after 8:45 p.m. to the intersection of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues in Northwest Baltimore where the shooting took place.<\/p>\n
When they arrived at the scene, police found six people \u2014 four adult males, one adult woman and a young girl \u2014 with gunshot wounds. They were transported to hospitals.<\/p>\n
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said the 5-year-old girl was shot in the hand, but is expected to recover.<\/p>\n
\u201cThankfully, it doesn\u2019t appear that her injury is very serious,\u201d Worley said.<\/p>\n
One of the men shot, a 38-year-old, was in critical condition Saturday and was taken in for surgery. Police said Sunday morning that he had died from his injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The four other victims are between 23 and 52 years old. They are believed to be suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Worley said police are still investigating the motive for the attack.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt just looked like some people were sitting outside on the porch and having some crabs,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd looked like somebody just opened fire.\u201d<\/p>\n
