Braden Nett<\/strong> is really getting on a roll at Double-A San Antonio.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old right-hander tied a career-high with six shutout innings in a 3-2 win<\/a> on Tuesday at Midland.<\/p>\n

Nett (5-3) struck out for batters and scattered five hits and a walk in lowering his ERA to 3.23 ERA.<\/p>\n

Nett has turned in scoreless appearances in three of his last four starts.<\/p>\n

He has struck out 73 batters in 61\u2153 innings, walked 25 and held hitters to a .239 batting average.<\/p>\n

Nett is ranked No. 9 among Padres prospects by MLB.com.<\/p>\n

Right-hander Stephen Jones<\/strong> (4.23 ERA) allowed two runs in 1\u2154 innings.<\/p>\n

Right-hander Ethan Routzahn<\/strong> (2.57 ERA) saved his second game with a strikeout over 1\u2153 scoreless innings.<\/p>\n

Right fielder Moises Gomez<\/strong> (.726 OPS) went 1-for-2 with an RBI and three walks.<\/p>\n
