The Ravens have suffered another injury loss to their cornerback rotation.<\/p>\n

Sixth-round rookie Robert Longerbeam (knee) has been placed on injured reserve after missing the Ravens’ preseason opener and Saturday’s practice. In a corresponding move, the Ravens signed veteran running back Myles Gaskin<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Baltimore still has a deep cornerback rotation featuring Marlon Humphrey, Nate Wiggins, Jaire Alexander, Chidobe Awuzie, T.J. Tampa, and Jalyn Armour-Davis. However, rookie cornerback Bilhal Kone suffered a season-ending knee injury<\/a> during Baltimore’s 24-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and was placed on injured reserve Saturday.<\/p>\n

Longerbeam (212th overall selection) and Kone (178th overall) were the two cornerbacks selected by Baltimore in this year’s draft. Longerbeam had two interceptions, 45 tackles, and 11 pass breakups at Rutgers last season and was competing for a role on defense and special teams.<\/p>\n

The Ravens added to their cornerback depth by signing cornerback M.J. Devonshire on Saturday<\/a>.
