{"id":13637,"date":"2025-06-25T13:47:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T13:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/13637\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T13:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T13:47:09","slug":"speed-limit-changes-to-be-implemented-near-multiple-northwest-isd-schools-keller-isd-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/13637\/","title":{"rendered":"Speed limit changes to be implemented near multiple Northwest ISD schools, Keller ISD schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tFort Worth City Council approved amending speed limits changes to several school zones, streets and highways during its June 24 <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthgov.legistar.com\/Calendar.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A closer look<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The speed limit near the schools will now be 20 miles per hour, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p>The changes include school zone areas from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nisdtx.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northwest ISD<\/a> near near the Justin\/Fort Worth city limits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northwest High School<\/li>\n<li>Clara Love Elementary<\/li>\n<li>W.R. Hatfield Elementary<\/li>\n<li>O.A. Peterson Elementary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The schools in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kellerisd.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keller ISD<\/a>, which are part of Council District 4, affected by the speed limit changes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trinity Meadows Intermediate School<\/li>\n<li>Vista Ridge Middle School in Fort Worth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The changes were enacted due to data compiled from completed private development, city roadway projects and traffic studies, according to city documents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In other news<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In northeast Fort Worth, there will also be a speed limit change near SH 114.<\/p>\n<p>According to city documents, the speed limit from the Denton County line to Fort Worth city limits and I-35W will now be 55 miles per hour.<\/p>\n<p>The previous speed limit ranged from 45 miles per hour to 60 miles per hour from North Freeway to Jarrett Drive, which is west of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasmotorspeedway.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Texas Motor Speedway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the speed limit will run west to S.
