William Byron:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Byron finished fourth in the Go Bowling At The Glen and leads the power rankings this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think my road course skills have really come a long way,\u201d Byron said. \u201cI\u2019d say I\u2019m as good a road course driver as Shane van Gisbergen is an oval driver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Ryan Blaney:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Blaney started on the pole at Watkins Glen, led 35 laps, and finished sixth at Watkins Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShane van Gisbergen is almost unbeatable on road courses,\u201d Blaney said. \u201cAnd the pressure of being expected to win those races doesn\u2019t seem to bother him. That New Zealander has ice in his veins, and luckily not ICE at his doorstep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Christopher Bell:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bell snatched the runner-up spot at Watkins Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI tried my best to catch Shane van Gisbergen,\u201d Bell said. \u201cHe won by over 11 seconds, so I guess I tried my best to\u00a0see\u00a0SVG.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Chase Briscoe:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Briscoe finished fifth at Watkins Glen, recording his 10th top 5 of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe coolest paint scheme of the day goes to Cody Ware\u2019s No. 51 Ford,\u201d Briscoe said. \u201cIt featured the \u2018Evel Knievel Museum\u2019 paint scheme. Cody could have made it cooler if he had jumped 16 school buses at some point in the race.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Shane van Gisbergen:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/speedwaymedia.com\/2025\/08\/10\/van-gisbergen-wins-the-go-bowling-at-the-glen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Van Gisbergen<\/a> led 38 laps at Watkins Glen and easily won the Go Bowling At The Glen for his fourth win of the year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy name has become synonymous with road course racing,\u201d van Gisbergen said. \u201cTo my competitors, \u2018SVG\u2019 might as well mean \u2018Say a Virtual Goodbye.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Alex Bowman: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bowman faded late and finished 20th at Watkins Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJ.J. Yeley\u2019s No. 44 Chevy was primarily sponsored by Syracuse Football NIL,\u201d Bowman said. \u201c\u2018NIL\u2019 stands for \u2018name, image, and likeness.\u2019 To put today\u2019s NIL in perspective, Syracuse\u2019s backup long snapper probably makes more money than J.J.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Denny Hamlin:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hamlin finished 25th at Watkins Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe difference between Cup drivers and Xfinity drivers,\u201d Hamlin said, \u201cis often just a fraction of a second, or a fracture of a collarbone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Chase Elliott:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Elliott finished 26th in the Go Bowling At The Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a chicane at Watkins Glen called the \u2018Bus Stop,&#8217;\u201d Elliott said. \u201cA lot of drivers think that Carson Hocevar should be placed at the Bus Stop, because that guy should be taking a bus instead of driving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Joey Logano:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Logano finished 14th in the Go Bowling At The Glen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been relatively quiet in the regular season so far,\u201d Logano said, \u201cexcept for those times when I\u2019m complaining about my Penske teammates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>10.
